Marc Gafni’s Keynote Presentation at J.F.K. University

JFK UniversityMarc Gafni delivered a keynote address to graduate students in Integral Studies at John F. Kennedy University in which he looks at key issues in Unique Self theory.

After an opening in which he points out the difference between the presence and absence and the presence of fullness, Gafni establishes a matrix for Unique Self by reviewing the Integral approach to spirituality, viewing its contribution as that of “pointing out instructions” for God in first, second, and third person. He highlights the fact that Integral’s “post-metaphysical” approach doesn’t mean that it’s “post-meaning.” He explains that there are definitely truth claims, but they are not exhausted by the mythical approach to metaphysics. God, he explains, is essential to the full realized experience of all that is.
